Sitges has always been a place that has captivated artists, tourists and, in general, visitors from all parties. For many, the secret is its light and almost 300 days of sunshine a year, as noted painters, sculptors and writers who, in the late nineteenth century, settled here.

And is that nature has been generous with us and Sitges has also the privilege of being located next to the Mediterranean Sea and at the foot of the Garraf massif. Culturally, the legacy is remarkable, art is alive and traditions are maintained with modernity. Sitges has preserved important medieval and ancient fishing village references, and offers visitors an important architectural heritage. In addition enjoy a cosmopolitan nature thanks to the heterogeneity of its population, where more than 70 different nationalities.

But now we must look forward and XXI century Sitges is based on innovation and creativity, but without losing our roots. Sitges wants to remain a city that attracts and seduces, and for this reason we work in three intertwined lines: tourism, creativity and art.

How to get

Sitges is well connected in all aspects. It is located 35 Km south of Barcelona, which is connected by excellent road, highway and rail. Prat international airport is only 20 km.

Taking the train from the airport (BCN – El Prat)

When you arrive at the airport you have to go through arrivals and follow the signs indicating the station (RENFE). The airport station is located in front of Terminal 2, and is connected to the terminal by a bridge. There is also a shuttle bus between the train station and Terminal 1.
Go up and down on any train after the first stop, El Prat de Llobregat season, which has been renovated and is now a railway underground. Up with the lift, turn left and down immediately taking the next steps automatically. Take the train with direction of Vilanova i la Geltru. Look at the stops and low when you get to the stop of Sitges. The trip takes about 20 minutes and are 4 trains per hour.
Important Information: After 2225 there is only one bus called “Mon Bus” leaving from Terminal 1. You can also take a taxi which will cost about € 65/70. The best option is to take the private shuttle service.

Taking the train – From the center of Barcelona

You have to take the train from Sants or Paseo de Gracia stations. You have to grab the direction of San Vicenc de Calders. Taking the bus from the airport (El Prat)

Take the bus is perhaps the easiest way to get to Sitges. Coje el ‘Mon Bus‘ , the stop is located in the middle of Terminal 1. The journey time is approximately 30 to 45 minutes, it depends on traffic. Coming by bus from the center of Barcelona. Many buses go in the direction of Sitges. Grabs the bus number N30, from Ronda Universitat near the Plaza Catalunya and from Gran Via, next to the Plaza Spain. The bus leaves every hour until 4 am, so you can always party in Barcelona and Sitges again taking the bus.

Taking a taxi from the airport (El Prat)

The taxi (they are generally black and amarilllos Mercedes) are in rows outside in front of arrivals hall. The average price is around 65-70 €. Make sure you’re wearing the exact address to communicate to the driver.

Option 1 – More trains with a change There are two options: From Tarragona you can grab the train to San Vicencs de Calders. From the Girona airport to Sitges

Grabs a cab to go to the Girona station, from there grabs the train to Sants station. There are no trains in the direction of Sitges.

Trains from Girona to Barcelona takes about 1.20x / 1:30 a.m..
